I know a boy who lived close to my house many years back. His name is Surajit. He quit studying at the age of 14 and started acquiring skills. He worked for many business ventures like being a helper to a jewelry maker, assisting city bus services, working for a sound and lights provider.

He continued learning and acquiring skills through out his teens leading to his twenties. Whereas people his age were busy studying and learning only. The only difference is that he started monetizing his skills but the students who just went to schools, colleges and universities just took part in learning but failed monetizing their acquired skill-sets.

Now Surajit is 36 years old and he has his own company. He knows 1000 resources and gives them earning opportunities. And the students who kept on gaining only education and knowledge are still struggling to keep in pace with their credits. Yes. Credits!! These are none but the banks who finances your education then keeps check that you pay it back. In the whole process the students get a job and they start earning but they never get to feel , The Real Happiness.

Some of the students did go through and kept studying what they really wanted to. They pursued their deep specializations and ended up doing what they madly wanted to become. But for most of the chunks it was all an obsolete knowledge. Their life took a standstill.

There are many people who are just coding for bread an butter but not because they really wanted to learn but they just wanted to survive. Trapped between ambitions and solidarity; their happiness has gone for a toss. They start the day wondering about when they might get some sleep back.

Some thoughts of the corporate who were once upon a time just thoughtless kids are

" Do I really have to keep calling people for selling a life insurance all my life " -

a Telecaller.

" Do I copy codes and paste it all day long" -

a Coder

" Do I always get to make presentations and never get to present it myself?"

- a Pre-salesman

" Do I have to keep balancing excel sheets when nothing ever balances out? "

- an Accountant

" Do I really needed a masters to do what I do ?"

- an HR manager

" Do I always have to go and meet people and smile even if I had to cry?"

- a Marketeer

No. You do not have to. Its your choice and you definitely need a little nurturing. When I grew up neither there was a spurge of technology nor did we have this scrambled economy. Gear up for the biggest recession but be prepared for the revival. Acquire the 21st century skills.

Combine the above mentioned examples of the corp-orates and you have acquired around 80% skills of being an entrepreneur. An entrepreneur have to make calls, he has to laugh when he wants to cry, he has to know a little bit of excel, a little bit about making presentations, a little bit of tally and articulated,

"Extrovertism"

Now you might suppose what about extra curricular and sports. You might end up playing cricket but with cricket you would still need media presence, brand marketing knowledge and strong inter personality skills.
